Many times our first contact with a new client is to offer advise on how to get started with their first web site.  These are typically small business people who have their hands full simply running their business and don't want to be bothered with learning new web technologies.

Web Design is the creation of the "layout" and "look and feel" of the site.  The "layout" is how you want your information presented and depends on how much and what kind of information you want presented.  This process typically begins with us gathering some information about your needs, your preferences, and so on.  We can e-mail you an Information Questionaire you can check out to get an idea of what we're looking for.

Web Development refers to adding functionality to a web design.  One example would be integrating a database and developing web pages that pull information from the database so that you can upload documents to your site for others to view.  There are many types of functionality that can be added to a web site.  Check out the list to the right for some ideas.
